And as the day went on she was feeling a little bit better, it has NOTHING to do with the medicine she was given. It was all about the T.V., soda, and daddy's pillow that mades everything better. Funny how when I was little those exact things made me feel better too...Right now we are back to the teary and snuggles... must be time for more medicine or soda...

February 1st
Last night when I picked Emily up from the babysitter, she did not look good, she hadn't eaten all day and was so teary... and only wanted me to hold her. For those of you who know her, the teary part isn't too uncommon but the holding her part is. She is normally too busy to be snuggled. I knew there must be something going on... As the night went on, she kept asking to let her out of the house, out of her bed, out of the car, just out of it all...
This morning after a long and sleepless night we went to the Doctor.
Here is a short video of our day...

I'm sorry Emily is having a hard time right now. Just keep loving her and letting her know that her daddy loves her as well. Sometimes these little ones think that it is their fault that Daddy is gone, or they feel abandoned.
It sounds like you are doing all the right things. The daddy bear that my Rachel has had since she was four was such a comfort for her.
